What is Business Credit Score?
A business credit score is a rating that reflects your company's creditworthiness, based on information such as payment history with suppliers and lenders, credit utilization, public records and company size. Several business credit bureaus produce their own scores using different scales. Business scores are separate from personal credit scores, though lenders often review both. Paying vendors on time and working with suppliers that report payment history can help build a business credit profile.
Example
A lender reviews both the owner's personal score and the company's business credit score when evaluating an application.
